Fox Control in West Yorkshire
Free fox control for smallholdings, farms, estates, and shoots across West Yorkshire, focused on the farmland and villages around Wetherby, Harewood, Bramham, and the Wharfe valley. With homes and footpaths never far away, control here is planned carefully and carried out by rifle with thermal and night vision only where it can be done safely.

Backyard poultry and paddocks
Around Wetherby, Boston Spa, Collingham, and Thorp Arch, most fox problems come from backyard and free-range poultry, paddocks, and small livestock rather than large flocks. A fox that's found a weak point in a run will keep coming back to it, so fixing the housing and dealing with that particular fox usually go together.
Estate land and shoots
The estates and farmland east of Leeds include woodland, parkland, and shoots where foxes find plenty of cover close to game and livestock. Release pens in summer and nesting game birds in spring are the pinch points, and control is planned around the shooting calendar and the keeper's routine.
Safety on busy ground
Bridleways, public footpaths, roads, and housing all sit close together here, which shapes when and where control is possible. Thermal imaging makes it possible to identify every animal and check what's beyond it before a shot is considered, and if a safe shot isn't available, it isn't taken.
How it works
Free, targeted, and done safely
Confirming it's a fox
Mink, badgers, dogs, and scavenging after a death from other causes can all look like a fox. The evidence is checked first, and if it isn't a fox, you'll be told so.
Thermal, night vision, and the rifle
Foxes are controlled by rifle, by a certificate-holding professional, using thermal and night vision to identify each animal and check what's beyond it. Depending on the ground, that means stalking, calling, or a bait station.
Timed to when losses happen
Lambing, release pens, and the nesting season each have their own window. Our fox calendar shows what foxes are doing month by month.
No charge, ever
There's no callout fee and nothing to pay at the end. The aim is to stop the losses, not to clear every fox from the area. See the full fox control service.
